Hey everyone!

Wow, has it been almost 2 years since my first journal entry? MY BAD! I'll try to be more active with journaling and writing updates on what's been going on.

First off, I wanna thank everyone for all the nice comments I've received throughout my time here at DA. I do read all of them and I do try to respond to as many as I can. What a great community we have here! =>

So what have I been up to? Well, it's not a secret anymore, but I've been working on God of War III for the past 2 1/2 years doing tons of concept designs- mainly creatures and characters, but also environments and marketing illustrations. I'm having a blast and can't wait to post all the artwork here. That's the worst thing about doing concept artwork, you never get to show your work until years later. And that's what I loved about working in the comic book industry. I'd draw something and a couple months later it's out on the stands. Everything was so immediate. So it does suck that I have 2 1/2 years (and by the time the game comes out, 3 years) worth of artwork that has to be hidden until the release date... which is March 2010! Can't wait!

Did you guys go to Comic Con? I was there Friday and Saturday. I had so much fun signing over at the Playstation booth. I was honored to be able to sign alongside the legendary Marv Wolfman whom I am working with on the upcoming God of War comic book being published by DC's Wildstorm Comics. I'm just doing the covers for the 6 issue mini-series. But I'm totally excited to be doing something in comics again. I had a blast meeting so many people during the signings, while walking around the floor, and old friends I saw throughout the 2 days I was there.
